  • The National Diabetes Support Team are holding an Open Space event to share ideas and discuss how they can successfully support a woman’s journey through pregnancy from the pre-conception through to postnatal phase. The event will take place on Thursday 4 December at the Church House Conference Centre in Westminster, London from 9.30am - 4.30pm.

  • Once more I'm sitting on a train on my way home. I think I must spend most of my life sitting on a train, although at least it allows me to get some work done, or to sleep!

  • Well, the Provera did work after all. Just had to be patient and wait for 8 days after taking the last tablet.

    I'd forgotten to ask my consultant how long it would take to work and when I looked on the internet it ranged from 2 days to 10 days. One site even said that it has been known to take 60 days!

    For once in my life I'm not complaining about it being 'the time of the month'.

    I've increased my intake of Metformin from one tablet to two a day. So far it seems to be going well with only very little of the side effects so fingers crossed!

  • I was diagnosed with PCOS (Policystic Ovarian Syndrome) about a month ago – not great news when you’ve been trying for a baby for 6 months.

  • First Time Baby is three weeks old now and things are going well! First Time Mum and I are getting used to nights of broken sleep and bizarely I actually seem to be getting more productive, not less.

    First Time Baby likes night time. She has decided that day time is nice and everything, but night time is great! Night time is wake time!
